The great thing about this is that not only does an investor not assume any more risk, but they don’t even have to do anything else aside from buying the stock to recieve them consistently.

2. Selling Covered Calls

Selling covered calls is a completely different approach. By selling a call you recieve money up front, but you are also obligating yourself to sell your stock in the future at a given price should the buyer choose to exercise the option. Most calls expire worthless, but you still need to be prepared to sell the stock at the strike price of the call before you do sell a call.

While selling calls do add on a little bit more risk they can be a lot more profitable then dividends.

3. Trading Options

Another method of investing into the stock market is to trading stock options. Stock options can be extremely profitable if used correctly. Of course there is a learning curve and it may take some time to get the hang of, but it has the highest potential out of all money making strategies in the stock market.
